Francis Fields began around 1996 as a dream of Frank Miller to establish a unique soccer facility for training, matches, soccer camps, coaches’ clinics, and much more. An avid soccer fan, player, and coach, Frank’s life was tragically cut short before his dream would come to fruition, but his brothers completed the facility, which bears his name and is dedicated to his memory.
Francis Fields is located in Cochise County, Arizona on the banks of the San Pedro River, about a 15-minute drive from the small town of Benson, Arizona. The facility has two regulation size and impeccably maintained grass soccer fields separated by a six-foot spectator berm. There are two dorms, each of which can accommodate eighteen to twenty players and two chaperones. There is a classroom/dining hall, separate accommodations for coaches, barbecues, campfire pits, and even two small ponds stocked with bass.
Francis Fields is surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges, expansive blue skies, and starry, starry nights. It’s just a short drive to the tourist destinations of Tombstone, Cochise Stronghold, Sandhill Crane migration area in Sulphur Springs Valley, Kartchner Caverns State Park, and numerous National and State Park hiking and biking trails.

Our private facilities allow you to craft a training program focused on your team’s needs.
- Two manicured grass FIFA regulation-size pitches will be lined and ready for your team.
- We also will line our fields to meet your specified training or team needs.
- Training Pavilion with flat-screen monitors, whiteboards, and blackboards provides a great location for lectures and teambuilding instructions.
- Our property has two fully stocked kitchens, as well as food service equipment in our training pavilion which most teams find sufficient for their needs. Food services and catering can be also arranged.
- Separate sleeping quarters are available for coaches.
